Electrical servo actuator IMA-S
The electric servo actuator IMA-S is a integrated motor actuator for the food industry, with the motor and actuator are in one compact housing. The IMA-S has a hygienic design and includes a RVS 316 construction, specially produced for the food industry. CIP (Clean-In-Place) is also a possibility. In addition the IMA-S offers IP69K and Washdown protection.
The IMA-S can withstand high forces (up to 15kN) and has a compact design. The compact design saves space while reducing the complexity of the machine.
The product line also includes the IMA-SA model which includes an internal anti-rotation feature, eliminating the need for an external guidance mechanism. This makes it a perfect actuator for applications such as volumetric filling and pumping.
Food-safe lubricants are of great importance in the food industry. The IMA-S therefore uses a lubricant with an FDA approval mark. Below you can see that it is easy to add lubricants, without having to disassemble the actuator.
