Barantec has been making touch technology for 30 years, with Everswitch as its best product line. Everswitch consists of a collection of push buttons and keypads based on the piezo-resistive principle. These push buttons are in a fixed steel housing and since no moving parts are used, this ensures great reliability and a long service life.

The push buttons are easy to connect to an I/O controller. The Keypads even have different connection options. The output is possible via RS 232, RS 485 or USB. Keyboards and keypads especially for login systems are also part of the Everswitch range.

Since there are no moving parts, the push buttons and keypads are completely waterproof and dust resistant. In addition, keypads are available with IP69K (Ingress Protection). Due to these special features, the keypads and buttons are widely used in submarines, vehicles that frequently enter the water, waterproof lamps, diving computers (yes, they really exist), diving instruments, buoys and oceanographic instruments.

But waterproof also equals easy to clean. Ideal for the medical industry. The products are also used for access systems, calling systems and intercoms in hospitals.
